Your Motivation Will Determine Your Recovery

Recovery is never easy. There are a couple of motivations that can either help or hurt the process. A good motivator is humility or teachability. If we approach our situation with an attitude of being teachable, we will expedite the process. However, if you enter recovery with an attitude of anger, you won’t get very far. Another motivator that isn’t helpful is rehearsal or pretense. The recovery process is not a play that you can act your way through. Instead, a more helpful motivator is sincerity or honesty. Being honest about what you’re struggling with will help those working with you in your recovery. Call us if we can help. Comment here.
