My son, a new driver, learned a hard lesson when he received a citation for pulling out of a side road in front of a stopped school bus the other day. The driver of the bus was angry and immediately called the police. A warning would have been easier to swallow, but unfortunately, the consequences involved a fine and points on my son’s record. Sometimes in life, we try and justify or rationalize what we are doing, expecting to get the easy way out, but that doesn’t always happen, does it?
